Target Audience : This course is intended for all individuals considering establishing or taking over an establishment with a license for the sale of alcohol (type 3 or 4 license) or a license for catering (small or large catering).
Prerequisites : The camera must be enabled throughout the course, a stable internet connection is necessary, and the participant must be in a quiet environment.
Conditions : To participate in the permis d’exploitation course, you must :
-Have a good command of the English language,
-Have the following equipment : a computer (compatible with PC, Mac, or Linux) equipped with a webcam, a microphone (preferably a headset or speaker), a tablet, or a smartphone.
You must also install the Zoom software, with minimum requirements of Windows 7, MacOS X10, or Ubuntu 12.04. For more details on the required configurations, please refer to the following link : "Joining a Zoom Meeting"
The permis d’exploitation course will enable you to acquire knowledge and anticipate risks. During this course, you will have the opportunity to :
- Understand the implications of regulations and their consequences on legal responsibility, both civil and criminal.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the duties incumbent upon the operator of an alcohol-selling establishment, particularly regarding signage, terrace layout, and video surveillance.
- Understand the issues related to public health, especially concerning alcohol consumption, tobacco, and narcotics.

Access times :
Registration for the course is possible until 2 p.m. the day before the course, depending on places available.
Access terms :
As soon as you register, you will receive an email with your invoice if applicable, and the information that you will receive your agreement 7 days before the course. This agreement gives you all the details about the course (schedules, access to questionnaires, Zoom link). You will have to complete the necessary questionnaires before the start of the course. Then, you will receive a reminder the day before the course begins.

The conditions for success in obtaining your permis d'exploitation are as follows:
1.attendance at the 5 half-days of course,
2.proof of your identity by means of an official document
3.80% correct answers to the end of course quiz. In the event of results below 80% correct answers : possibility of retaking the quiz. However, if the results remain below 80%, a trainer will call you to ensure that you understand the fundamentals.

The permis d’exploitation course takes place through the ZOOM software.
Regulations require the presence of two trainers with whom you can interact at any time for any training organization.
Sessions typically run from Tuesday to Thursday. These hours may vary depending on public holidays.
The course lasts for 20 hours, which is equivalent to 2 and a half days : from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first two days and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third day.
Only individuals who have completed the course more than 10 years ago, table hosts, or those who can demonstrate over 10 years of experience in managing a bar or restaurant are eligible to take the one-day training.
The course is completely legal.
The decree of September 21, 2020, allows for the organization of the permis d’exploitation course through remote video conferencing.
This decree specifies that the training must be co-facilitated throughout its duration by two trainers: a legal expert and a hospitality industry specialist. To find out more, please refer to the "Legigrance decree"
Please remain vigilant regarding certain competitors who offer course conducted by a single trainer. They are therefore not in compliance with the current regulations.
The Professional Training Account (CPF) does not cover this course, nor does any other organization.
Depending on your current status, there are different possibilities for coverage: Pôle Emploi (if you are a job seeker) or certain OPCOs (depending on your status).
Yes, you have the option to postpone your course once, with in a maximum period of 5 weeks from the initial registration date. However, this request must be made at least one week before the start of the course.
Cancellation is only accepted in the event of force majeure. In this case, you simply need to inform us in writing, specifying the reasons for your cancellation. Upon receipt of your letter or email, we will proceed with the reimbursement.
Each organization has accreditation. We obtained ours in January 2016 from the Ministry of the Interior.
Our accreditation was renewed on January 4, 2021, by the Haute-Garonne Prefecture.
