Expert permis d'exploitation course

You may register for the Expert permis d’exploitation if:

• You have managed or operated a licensed bar or restaurant in France for at least 10 years

• You can formally attest your professional experience

• You need to obtain or transfer a licence to operate an establishment

If you cannot justify 10 years of experience, you must attend the 20-hour initial permis d'exploitation course instead.

By the end of the training, you will:

• Understand the legal framework governing alcohol sales in France

• Master your civil and criminal responsibilities as an operator

• Know the public health obligations related to alcohol, tobacco and prevention

• Ensure compliance with administrative and local regulations

Registration is possible until 2 pm the day before the session (subject to availability).

After enrolment:

• You receive confirmation and invoice

• You receive your training agreement

• You complete required pre-course questionnaires

• You receive your Zoom access link the day before the training

*You join a virtual class via Zoom videoconferencing software.

*Course materials are made available to you and shared throughout the session.

*You will carry out concrete case studies for an in-depth understanding of the concepts.

*You also have the opportunity to apply your knowledge through role-playing exercises.

To obtain your permis d’exploitation:

• Full attendance is required

• Identity verification is mandatory

• Minimum score of 80% at the final assessment

If needed, the quiz can be retaken.

Your official certificate is issued electronically the day after the session and remains valid for 10 years.
